Rain either has lovers or haters—only two extremes on either side of the pole, baby! If you're not into the rain that we've been getting recently, you're not alone. One can only take so much pitter-pattering on their home's gutter before they start going a little crazy from the noise. Even rain haters have to admit that the dreary, greyscale weather is soothing every so often, especially on a day where you have no responsibilities. The best feeling is when you thought you were going to have a productive day and you weren't ready for it, only to realize the rain gives you the perfect excuse to bed rot all day and watch your favorite television shows and movies. When a rainy day comes, you welcome it with open arms. This is your fate now, so you must accept it and bask in the glory of the fog. The fog is coming, if you didn't know that already. It's not up for debate: The best sleep anyone has is during the day when a thunderstorm hits their neighborhood. I don't make the rules, I just share memes. But that isn't really a hot take, now is it? I think everyone loves listening to the drops fall on their windowpane, begging to act as white noise for the humans who live behind them. There, the rain will tap away until the clouds disperse, waiting for their next opportunity to dance closer to the ground once again.
